Singapore!

Well, we've made it to Singapore. It's a bit strange to get on a plane at heathrow at 12, and arrive at 8am in the morning the next day.
I have to say Singapore airlines reputation is very well deserved. Food was amazing, the A380 was really nice and comfy (as much as a 13 hour flight can be comfy)... the best experience on a plane to date i'd say.
We had a text and call just before we got onboard to say that leg 3 have unfortunately had an accident in China with one of the Defenders, which is now written off. No-one else was involved, and luckily everyone is OK (makes you very thankful for having a fully qualified paramedic on leg 3, and paramedic and doctor on leg 4). This may have set leg 3 back a little more, so there may have to be some more fancy footwork on the paperwork side - hopefully we'll get to speak to leg 3 later today and assess where we are. The most important thing is to get them all to the boarder safe.

We have spent the morning at the Lao embassy in United Square (or rather the building right next to it) and now have Lao visa's for later in the week - a really quick service (1hr 30 mins turn around, including a mad rush to a barber shop just outside that could do passport photos (some of the team left photos in their main bags at the hotel)).

Using the free internet access at Starbucks at United Square before going hunting for some shopping, Raffles, and lunch in a few mins. Will update later!
